Scottish couple, Kirsten and Anthony, decided to try something a little bit different when they organised a destination wedding in Portugal. They thought it would be a fun idea to design a mystery wedding tour for their guests, and decided that all family members and friends would be kept in the dark about the nature of their wedding day.
The only information given to them was a meeting point and a pick up time on the morning of the big day. Guests were then whisked away to watch them both exchange their vows within the majestic ruins of an old convent, followed by an outdoor dinner party in the garden of their favourite restaurant, both situated in the heart of Lisbon. As the evening came to a close, Kirsten and Anthony ensured the party didn’t end there and they ushered all their guests to their final destination in the town of Cascais for further drinks and dancing.
Kirsten and Anthony created a very unique, informal and extremely beautiful wedding day. The atmosphere was incredible and the sense of mystery and the unknown heightened the excitement and buzz that hung in the air.
